Festa Del Boccolo

As an Altoshipper, I couldn't resist putting Ratiasu in Andante. But she fits extremely well in the world of Aria, one reason being that Neo-Venezia and Alto Mare are both based on Venice.

I decided to make Ratiasu (or Rati in human disguise) a Salamander. A Salamander is one who controls the weather to make Aqua a habitable planet. In Navigation 3, Akatsuki says that Salamanders are like the winged lions of Saint Mark--they "protect the peace of the land." I thought it fits Ratiasu very well, as she is one of the guardians who protect Alto Mare.

In this drawing, Satoshi gives Ratiasu a red rose on Saint Mark's Day. =3 The water level is high because during that time Acqua Alta occurs. It is an actual occurence in Venice, and is caused by high tides or low atmospheric pressure.
